RE: RE: Louisiana play

RE: RE: Louisiana playFirst let me say, ( to all you sneak and peekers who follow our board), that while the posters here often disagree we never really get vicious and/or stupid as are a few other boards.  We do have some fun and "banter".  So with that said, "BANTER UP"

Okay, dogbone,, here is ALL I know from what I read and from my DD:

1.  REV will pay $US275,000 to TerrOnne for the rights to drill three development oil wells in Northern Louisiana
The first well is to be spudded and drilled on or before May 15, 2010

2,  Terronne is fully licensed to carry out the necessary drilling and completion activities required to develop the property and has been in the Louisiana area for many years and has  many contacts in the oil and gas field.  .

3.  We may be pursuing wells that have been plagued with paraffin and high viscosity problems on which the REV can employ its environmentally friendly solvents to enhance production. (More mystery meat)

4. Cost of drilling a well may be $150k (give or take a billion)

Redrear writes:  "Hey Curtis, this field is 105 years old this year!!!  105 years.  How much oil and/or gas do you think is left?  When you read the word "mature field," that means it near the end of its life.   "

OBVIOUSLY, Redwoof objects to a mature field that is younger than him.  Mature is not a bad word.  These fields are charter members of the AARP and deserve respect.  "If you want gold, go to where they have found gold before!"  I believe Redhowl is confusing mature with his special brand of manure.

The question is:  Is this an incestuous deal that is throwing our money away  OR
                               Is this an opportunity?

I really don't know.  By May 15, if drilling has been successfully done, we will know the answer.

PS:  Woofy, you are still under the mistaken idea that anything I or you post effects the SP?  When Haywood and the rest of the gang decide we are ready to go up or down, we will go up or down.  Nothing I say has anything to do with the SP.  I know it.  Most intelligent people realize it.  Now it is your turn to GET IT!  GET IT? oooooooowwwwwoooooohooooooowwlllllllllll. woof woof and away........
