BNN on wireless; bought some TelusBNN had a number of interviews on US and Canadian cable and wireless service providers yesterday. Interesting.
But some of the worries expressed about increased competition and obsolete infrastructure did not prevent from me from picking up a few Telus shares today at C$32.60. In order of importance, own BCE, Telus and Shaw.
Would happily buy Rogers if and when it gets cheaper. In fact, I would love to sell some BCE and buy Rogers if the world evolves according to Beave. Rogers strikes me as a well managed but pricey company. By contrast, BCE strikes me as a company that is much better managed now than before and continues to be modestly undervalued.
According to several metrices, Telus is better value than both Rogers and BCE but honestly I don't have a good feel for management yet. Any opinions?
