General comment/question

General comment/questionHi:

I expected a correction in the market (a lot of "experts" were calling for it so that alone almost insures it, though it seemed a correct call based on the fundamentals). Unfortunately I did not bail in time so I am under, though not a lot on several stocks. I know based on my past that makes it difficult to sell, who wants to take a loss, though that is often the best position, ie. take a small loss rather than a big one. However, if it is just not this tendency to not take a loss, but something else I am noticing, then I may not want to sell. I am noticing that there is not as much selling as I thought there would be. And though the bid is low, the ask is staying higher (or there is a large spread) so that the little, comparatively selling would make it difficult to buy back in if I wanted to. Maybe another landslide is coming. But I wonder if it is going to be like the last major decline in the markets in the precious metals. It is not directly related, but I am buying silver coins on Ebay and finding that people are now paying quite a premium in most cases for the metal. Just a few weeks back I could get it for the market value of the metal minus the shipping costs.

I will not base my decisions entirely on any responses here, but it seems like a good idea to gauge the sentiment of the people here, if any are willing. Are you out of the market, or getting out? Or are you going to hold on and see the reaction in the precious metals stocks. I am out of everything but them.
