(i) Assays over-limits pending.
To date, the program has completed ten drill holes for a total of 797 meters. Assays from holes APV10-05 to 10 are pending. The drill program is designed to test mineralization previously drilled with AirTrack drilling in the 1980s and core drilling in 2003 and 2004. The drilling is targeted around the main La Lechoza Prospect in the sectors named North Hill (original surface showing), Spanish Pit, a gossan zone approximately 250 meters to the southwest, and the newly discovered sector Pon Hill is located a further 200 meters southwest of Spanish Pit. The total extension of the mineralization is estimated to be 450 meters by 200 meters. Values up to 11.18 g/t gold, greater than 300 g/t silver, 3.03% copper were returned from this drilling campaign. Andre Audet, Chairman and CEO, stated: "These results confirm the high potential of the La Lechoza prospect to develop a copper, gold, silver resource in the near future".
The intersected mineralization varies from semi-massive sulphide including pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite and argentite associated with clay-rich breccias zones, to quartz-sulphide stockwork and veining in strongly silicified volcanic-derived breccias. A supergene oxidation zone with secondary copper oxides and carbonates cap most of the fresh hypogene sulphides or primary mineralization. Significant secondary copper enrichment (covellite-chalcosite) and locally visible gold have been observed in the core. (see map on www.evertonresources.com)
The drilling campaign is being oriented to define the extension of the mineralization system and to discern the structural and stratigraphical setting. Mineralogical and petrographical studies will be oriented to define the environment of formation.
Further work planned in the Ampliacion Pueblo Viejo will consist of an exhaustive alteration minerals' study using portable infrared spectrometer (PIMA) to orient further drilling at the extensive alteration lithocap at Loma La Cuaba in the southern sector of the concession and adjacent to the Pueblo Viejo gold deposit
