For PointsWest

For PointsWestThanks for the post Pointswest.  Glad someone on here is able to make some informed statements unlike a lot of the drivel we see on the Bullboards.  The fact that there have been a number of failures resulting in fires recently is unfortunate, however, it does happen and I'm sure that the O/S group will come together in the investigations and drive to root cause to prevent this as much as possible in the future.

You're absolutely correct about last years freeze up.  Not only was Syncrude frozen for the better part of two weeks, so was Shell if I recall correctly.  Everyone was having problems - but SU managed to keep producing thrugh the coldsnap.

As I personally believe oil to be headed lower over the next couple months - both due to a strenghtening US dollar and more news surrounding sovereign debt that will scare the markets, I'm still holding off on buying SU for a couple more months.

Best of luck
