RE: Shareholderstoronto4life...
I'm a stockholder of LBE. Have been for about 5 years now.
I messed up when the stock went to 4.00 and should have sold all
my shares. Now I'm just holding on waiting for the SP to "rise again".
And, I think it will. When, is my unanswered question. My only hope is
that it will rise before I croak. I'm not to happy for the Chinese
involvement but it's better than bankruptcy.(And, so far, they have proven
to be an okay partner.) Keep your fingers crossed that the price of silver
will stay above 8.00 for a long time!
Interesting handle you choose. I'm not sure that you will be here on the
Toronto Stock Exchange (Venture anyways) for life ( assume that is what
you meant when you decided on the handle.). You have much to learn.
Unless, your a real gambler. Even a crook. It is here that you will be
fleeced. Probable many times over. Suggestion: Don't believe 99+% of the
words you read on any of the bull boards! (Except that last sentence.)
Another thing which you should quickly learn is that: Don't give up your
"Day Job". Always remember, the normal rules for accounting do not apply
to any stock on this exchange. This exchange has its own standards, rules
and laws. None of which are enforced by the "legalese" profession. Also,
these do change from day to day and from one "play" to another! You will
soon see that you are free to lie, cheat, misrepresent, and practice your
own "plans of deception" and no one will stop you. Yes, you will find many
paid bashers and pumpers (and I think, you can already identify with these)
available to echo or reinforce whatever you say and pay them to say or do.
No restriction apply! There are no standards of intelligence required for
bashers/pumpers. (They do though, have to know how to lie smoothly
and COPY as "tools of their trade".)
Money talks and money controls. That is the bottom line around here.
Note, in real life, I'm an optimist. Believe it or not. Yes, investing in the
stocks on this exchange has a lesser likely hood of ever breaking even
that the odds at any of the Casinos in Las Vegas. There, they operate by
rules of the Mafia - made into State Laws. Here you play by the rules of
the Brokerages Houses, the Financial Houses (know also as Family
Institutions, Preferred Investment Banks, etc.) and all are (IMHO) stock
manipulators. Yes, even the activities in Cat Houses have been know to
influence many a share price. Advice: if you don't turn into a "day trader"
or "shorter", wait and buy at 10 or 15 seconds before the final bell. Why?
Because that is when a good share of the manipulators sell low (or high
at times) to "control" the share price of the stocks. (Note; if 10mm share
are sold during the day at a high price, and then just before the closing
bell, 10 shares are sold at a lower price, this is price that is established
for the day.) What does that influence? Simply, only the Market Cap of the
company involved and all ... that goes with that value.

Questions for you...Why did you buy LBE shares? And, why did you wait
over 4 months to JOIN Stockhouse? And, please name one good point
that "Drillbit" (or his 17 + basher alias's) has made. Also, why is your first
ever post - so negative? And, again, why have you not read even ONE
post since you joined? So far, your "track" record is not so hot? In fact, it
sounds pretty fishy!
If your youth is similar to most of us, as a student, you are not a realist -
yet. In a few years you will change from an idealistic philosophical person
to a realist (if you are lucky and live long enough). I was told by my "old"
Accounting Professor, back in the mid 1950's, that: "not all Accountants are
good liars. But, most all liars make good Accountants". Are you old enough
to understand what he was trying to tell us? And, another example: while
in the Army a good friend of mine who was a CPA. (Yes, we were auditors
in an Accounting Department - far away, across the Seas! And, I'm glad that
was 50 years ago too.) In one of our BS discussion (plenty of Bach Beer
available to loosen tongues) he mentioned that he had to make a decision
of what "kind" of an Accountant he wanted to be when he got out. To join up
with his "Family" (Italian relatives) or get a job with a "regular" accounting firm.
He said he would be "taken good care of for life" if he made that one decision.
But, his life would be secretive and all his activities supervised/controlled, and
he would have to do the accounts as he was told to do too... I hope you don't
have to make that kind of a career decision in your life. Maybe, you already
have??? (Aah, a life of crime. I'm sure that there are some on this very board
that have already made that decision. I don't know of any, but some sound
suspicious.)
You said that it is childish the bickering that is going on here. Well, I
think you have this board mixed up with the another board. Further, It is
NOT a childish situation. You may be a young "accounting" student,
but, you don't know beans (nor how to count them!). This situation about
these two companies goes way back. IMHO, there is a well funded
"organized" SCAM to manipulate share prices here. For what reason I
don't know, yet. But it will manifest itself someday. What you must
recognize and be cognizant of is that these things (miss-management
plus) are allowed to flourish under the present Canadian Laws (which
apparently go unenforced). Please note, some people can only put up
with only so much shenanigans. Then they have to stand up and say
"enough". (You may not have reached this point at any time in your life -
yet) Right now, you are witnessing something unusual for a TSX listed
company. This does not happen often enough. The good, the silent,
the right, are standing up to the opposition and letting it be know that
enough is enough. Slander, back stabbing, manipulating,
misrepresenting clear correct facts, mismanagement, etc., will be
stopped. Responsibility to the shareholders, who's money are involved,
will be identified and brought forth for all to see. Toronto, you are fortunate
to be here to witness this very unusual thing is happening. Set back, take
notes, and learn from an older experienced professional ACCOUNTANT
who is performing a clinic, free for all to learn from, on how to identify
corruption inside of a company and exposing it for exactly what it is.
A cover up for decency - responsible management. Can't you see it?
Broaden your view. Talk with your fellow students or professors. If "he"
(there are just a few involved) is wrong, expose their fallacies. If correct,
embrace them and add to your storehouse of Accounting Experiences
and knowledge on how to correctly interpret "exploratory" companies"
financial papers/statements. Which should/will help you in your future.
For sure, don't just pass off what you are witnessing as just a "childish
bickering between two characters". See it for what it truly is! If you
haven't already taken a side (or been paid to) open your eyes and
make a "positive" commitment to learn what is going on and how it
will benefit the shareholders, other exploratory companies, and maybe
even you. Don't you see that a group of illiterate pumpers have their
strings being pulled by a "puppeteer" and that they have no interest for
what is good for the shareholders (real owners of the company)?
