RE: I wonder too

RE: I wonder tooHello beenthere, I didn't realize you were down 90% on this investment. I know the share price isn't what it was from the heady days in 2000-2001. What happened to averaging down? Look at the google 10 year chart on this company, it's clear that you had a window of about 6 YEARS to average down from even the highest share price. Perhaps you were incarcerated.  I will be buying more in order to average down, the question really is how low will it go prior to hard sales numbers from Covidien.
Flattered that the eloquent Marianne dug out an old post of mine and quoted me. I still don't care if Covidien hires none, 100 or a thousand sales reps to promote Pennsaid, that's their bag. When Buffett buys a company, he let's the management run it their way. He buys it because of the way they ran it, so he let's them keep doing what they do. I have faith that Covidien will market Pennsaid appropriately. Don't bore me with the details...they know better than I.
Soon enough they will have to "show me the money', how they get there doesn't interest me. When I take my car for service, I don't need the mechanic to come out and tell me he had to loosen the grapple grommets, in order to access the thingamajigs. Just fix the fukr is what I say. Covidien....just sell the damn stuff to whoever is willing to pay. Final answer.
Anecdotally, was hospitalized for a work related injury...made a point of asking doctors that treated me about Pennsaid. I'm in Canada. Every one....every one  said it was a great product. That comforts me.
