RE: bulk sampleedwoolven, the process has been ongoing... They have completed studies on the type of DMS plant, whether to design and build from scratch or purchase existing and retrofit. Size and costs obviously being determining factors. They have determined where to take the bulk sample and completed all the studies and reports required by the gov't to proceed.
From the web-site, we know they have targeted the numerous deep pockets in the sands and gravels that should provide a treasure box of heavy minerals ie large diamonds, sapphires, rubies and maybe even the odd gold nugget or three. I would only guess, since they paid a small fortune for the surface rights, that they are probably ready and will proceed with this form of exploration, prior and during construction of the bulk sample. I do believe that they know exactly where they're going to collect and how they are going to go about it.
This will be obvious to all, once the funds are available. Are we close...I would say yes! Why?... Market sentiment seems to have changed. Rough prices have firmed and the realization that there really aren't many projects as advanced as the Leadbetter. Very few, have such massive size potential with good quality stones that will be mined at a very low cost. Very appealing infrastructure, skilled work force and the biggest bonus to potential investors, gov't approval to move towards valuation. When it starts, we won't be waiting four or five months for price movement, as some here may think, to coincide with start of the bulk sample. It will be quick and furious. We'll experience huge volume and very attractive gains.
