RE: A co-ordinated effort

RE: A co-ordinated effortDude, beliving in these conspiracy theories is only gong to kill your portfolio. I'm not saying don't buy EC, or don't sell EC. But don't buy EC BECAUSE of the reasons you're stating.

Do you really think that a company has that kind of power over it's stock price? That they can just decide which way they want the price to go? I can assure you, they don't.

Nobody can "slam the price down" if there are buyers for their shares. The fact taht there are NOT buyers must be beyond you guys. If there were, the price would not be tanking.

And who would do the companies evil bidding? Because EC doesn't have any shares in it's trasury, so it would have to get another entity with shares to start dumping theirs.....but why would this entity do that for EC? Do you honestly think the finance world works liek this?

You guys are all the same....always looking for a 'reason' for something, and then grabbing onto the most illogical one. You want a reason for why the stock price is where it is? Well, to most logical observers, the stock price crashed because it broke down below the 50 DMA....when the happens, stocks very often go to test the next moving average. THAT'S the reason. But I guess that's too 'easy' for you guys, so you need to talk about bizarre conspiracy theories involving shady parties.

: Let's say you're out on your yard, and get shot in the arm.....you look across the street and see a woman walking her dog, and then a few yards away, a guyb with a gun pointing it at you. So, the most likely explanation for getting shot is that the guy with the gun did it, right? And you'd be 100% correct. People like you spend their whole investing lives blaming the woman walking her dog, when the REAL answer (the guy with the gun) is right in front of your face.

But I'm all ears...please give us one logical scenario that shows how the company could push the price down, even if they wanted too?
