RE: poor performance???I totally understand this negative talk. I am feeling quite frustrated myself. The only thing that keeps me hanging is
1) Permits for mine #2 should be out by the end of the month, if all goes well (as per mdzn's post earlier). With the permits, NAG should be producing at mine #2 relatively shortly, within a few weeks after permits. The potential there is about 30K tons a month. Common sense tells me that if the markets behave, we should receive a bump in the s/p.
2) NAG has other mines in various stages but likely to come to production as well. The latest acquisition of the blue gem coal lease seems to be a good one too. With the new experts on board, the permitting process for all the mines should be faster.
3) Once NAG starts producing blue gem coal, I think that's when we will really see a spike in the s/p, IMO.
4) We still have Sask. and LL. The latest I spoke to IR, I was told that Charles is starting to look at LL and that Sask. will be drilled too. From my understanding, they have to do some work in Sask. or they lose the permits. I just don't know what that time frame is but I'm thinking by October 2010.
Lots of stuff going on. Lots of news on the horizon. I've been holding for over a year and half now and heard it all. I think regardless of how NAG may have been before they got into coal, now they are actually serious. I don't think this is a pump and dump since there appears to be a vision for NAG now. It will take time, no doubt.
Of course, lots of what IR says you have to take it with a grain of salt. Sometimes they don't even know WTF their talking about. Perfect example is W.V. ... producing in Jan. 2009?? LOL, ya right!! Now they say that they were un ware of all the steps and that they were overly optimistic ... understandable. Producing coal is a new thing for them, they will learn and take the bumps as they go. Steep learning curve, but I think they will get it.
The above is just my opinon. I could be wrong, but still holding. LOL, after the spike to .65 and drop to .05, I was wrong all along!! I just finally am hitting my average!! Although, if NAG drops further, i might start to get nervous again!!
