This is the implication in the agreement. They probably put it in to discourage competive bids and give them a better chance with the 30 cent offer.

I agree completely, and it had crossed my mined as a possibility.. We are going to ask the lawyer about this, i.e. do they have to disclose the offer amount from the other bidder? He already said that a better cash offer would be hard to defend as "inferior". We may even take the lawyer to the meeting Friday, depending on what he says about this and the other, possibly nefarious, actions.
