Global Minerals grants options, amends exercise price

GLOBAL MINERALS REPRICES AND GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Global Minerals Ltd. has repriced certain outstanding options granted to directors, officers, employees and consultants of the company. The company has repriced options to purchase up to an aggregate of 928,666 common shares in the capital of the company to an exercise price of 23 cents in order to more closely reflect the current trading range of the company's common shares. The company received shareholder approval to the repricing of the options at its annual and special meeting held on Dec. 4, 2009.
