RE: RE: RE: RE: radio

RE: RE: RE: RE: radioThere isnt that kind of opposition to the mine here in brazil. The locals are all former garimpeiros who have been fighting to get the project restarted for twenty years. On yesterdays broadcast one of the garimpeiro leaders burst into tears while being interviewed.  IMO if greenpeace or some other ngo tried to muck about in serra pelada and hold up the process theyd end up getting shipped back to their cozy parents suburban home in a body bag.
The opposition we saw at the early february meeting was related to environmental concerns, but those are mostly due to the early stages of the actual mine planning on the part of colossus and the desire by the government at the highest levels to push this forward to approval as a feather in the cap for the upcoming elections.
IMO there are legitimate environmental concerns that were discussed by the opposition to the licensa previa that csi and coomigasp just got, but they will not play a factor over the development of this story in the next month or two. At which time I believe it will be time to lock in our gains anyways.
All my opinion.
