Insightful comments yoda2. You may be correct, but a further possibility is manipulation by investment firms wishing to accumulate a large position without elevating the price, a case of "you scratch my back and I will scratch yours". A trading exchange may be occurring, whereby each firm wants what the other firm has, therefore a stranglehold on stock X by firm 1 allowing firm 2 to accumulate, in exchange firm 2 puts a stranglehold on stock Y allowing firm 1 to accumulate. WM insiders have been net buyers recently. There are of course other answers including pre-option pricing and pre-private placement pricing.

Apart from the 2 days in Feb. (13,000,000 shares sold) there has been a tight range between day highs and lows, the lows more often than not being at or near the lows, I have not looked at the last few trades on each day.
The above is speculation on my part, but if I was in the business that's what I would do.

I own a large # of small caps, the same is happening elsewhere e.g. AMA-X; AOS-X; EET-T

Any ex-professional traders out there?
