EMPOWER TECHNOLOGIES AND PIXON IMAGING PURCHASE UPDATE

Empower Technologies Corp. is continuing its effort to secure further financing for the purchase of Pixon Imaging LLC. The definitive agreement to purchase Pixon Imaging has expired; however, Empower and Pixon Imaging are holding talks on a possible extension of the existing definitive agreement and possible revisions to the terms. Empower expects a conclusion of the talks with Pixon Imaging next week and will provide a further update at that time.
