It has been my experience that no news in such instances is usually good news. Silence is usually followed by agreement of some sort. Of course no one can know for sure, but if I was in the process of making a licensing deal, or any other deal, I would want absolute silence on the matter until it was hammered out and a joint announcement can be made. that's my best guess.
