RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Re: Remarkable letter from JefWhile I appreciate and respect people's reluctance to share their private conversations with management, nothing Jeff said could be considered material information. He would be breaking the law if he did so, and he knows it. He also knows that anything he tells a retail investor on the phone, or via e-mail might end up on a bullboard such as this one.
And while I appreciate that Jeff was professional, courteous, etc, I will say for the record that he was the same with me when I spoke with him when the stock was at $4. When the share price tanked and I contacted the company again he was not nearly as readily available and definitely not as courteous, nor (IMO) as forthcoming when I finally did get ahold in him.
People will sometimes tell us what we want to hear. You may guess correctly that I'm not the biggest fan of Jeff C's management style, and you're right. As a person I have no opinion of him, and of his company I still hold out hope that my investment will pay off (my own personal target is around $5 12-18 months from now). But I do not for a second believe that Jeff C cares about the small retail investor, if, as he says half this company is held by institutions, another large chunk by him and other insiders.
Cheers,
