Just thought of something. In the quote Goofy was trying to back in my face it implies 1P reserves in the US were worth $18.80. Yet his arguement for $4.00 /bbl was having P1 reserves worth $8.xx/bbl and P2 worth $5.xx/bbl and then discounting it further due to the lower commodity prices. Something smells a little fishy with his numbers, n'est pas?

In the U.S., valuations for 1P oil reserves ended the year at about$14.10 per barrel, down 25% from the 2008 peak. For 1P gas reserves,values ended 2009 at about $1.80 per Mcf, down 40% from the 2008 peak.
