RE: RE: RE: good & bad- kaosbluesWell, your at least trying to find fault with my logic but I haven't seen any valid criticisms from you here.

The traditional approach admittedly has been to look for boatloads of oil, but that is precisely where I believe a number of so called experts have proven they are out to lunch.  My feelings about the so called market are not much better.  The market does not know all, it in fact is completely ignorant and moves on the whims of significant players within it who are sometimes right on and probably more often than not dead wrong.  The traditional definition of the market is way off the mark and people are slowly coming to that realization but I digress.

There is really no better find than finding condensates when exploring for oil.  Condensates are really just a euphemism for light oil. It appears the market doesn't realize this which goes to show its ignorance and this was clearly proven in respect of this play when the SP fell so drastically with that announcement some months back. Especially in light of the fact they hit at a depth which they admitted they weren't expecting to in any way.  Can you spell the word bonus?

Moreover, gas is and will be extremely valuable down the road especially in the Middle East,  but I am not going to get in an argument with people about this.  Suffice it to say that it reminds me of the people who shat all over Jack Gallagher (Dome Petroleum) back in the 50's when he started exploring in the far north for oil and gas.  He was ridiculed incessantly as a fool by those "in the know" and "the market" for having the audacity to say that one day there would be great and valuable finds of oil and gas in the Beaufort Sea. Some fool...

My point here is that over time alternative views often prevail...organizations like Dana aren't putting billions of dollars into gas development in the Middle East  for the good of their health.  Wake up and smell the coffee and for once in your life get ahead of the curve. Oil development isn't going to come much faster...

Regarding where the pressure comes from in a hole... I suppose we will just have to agree to disagree but one of us will be proven right on this in due course.  My view is that to say that a giant reservoir doesn't create great pressure in a hole and that isn't how it works is balderdash....it is precisely what could be happenning.  Not necessarily what is or has happened, I grant you that it is possible it has come from other pressures that accumulate at that depth,  but it also very well could be pressure from a major find like Sarqula.  Virtually everyone admits that notwithstanding the major league screw up with the drilling of that well it appears they did hit a major pay zone and the great pressure frojm that pay zone contributed greatly to the problems with that well.   Indeed upon close reading of the media releases I for one have come to the conclusion that they have hit another major payzone past the 4077 Metre level and that may be reason for great optimism.  We can agree to disagree here, but in any event they have definitely hit in 3 other zones so all is not only not lost but indeed again there should be optimism if only for that.

There is way to much jackboot negativism here not only from you but from other characters on this site and it makes one extremely suspicious, suspicious enough to make me think that this thing is going to take off in the coming weeks.  It will be interesting to see where things go Monday morning.  I do agree that in the short term oil discovery will be best if only because of market bias, but regardless my gut feeling is that one better load up on shares asap because  I think we are shortly to see the last of the 80's and 90's for this SP and rightly so.  I also wish you the best on your investment decisions, let's hope that regardless of who is "right" here that this thing takes off and shows it's value.  There is no doubt in my mind it is presently grossly undervalued no matter how you slice it.
