RE: KurdsIt will not be quite so easy for the Kurds to build thier own export pipeline. In order to do so they would have to cross the teritories of their neighbours, none of which will allow them. They are:

Iraq non-kurd. This is the route they use now.

Turkey. Have their own Kurd nationalists fighting for independance. Turkey will not deal with a Kurd government as it legitimizes their own Kurds call for self government.

Iran. Similar problem as Turkey although I don't belive the Iranian Kurds are activley fighting for independence.

Believe it or not, the Iraqi government is the best hope for the Kurds and their oil exports.
