As you know Goldtoe I am in general agreement with you about Vast.  I must however point out that the most likely cause for the appreciation in the SP today was primarily due to the results of the election.  That is not to say that it isn't a speculative movement (because people are likely speculating that the play is that much more stable now that the Kurds appear to hold the balance of power) but not so much in the sense that I read your post.  I think you will see continuing speculation in the sense you are talking about right up to the spud date, with fall backs and push forwards throughout the next month.   I won't be surprised if it falls back a bit next week, but have no worries it will take off eventually.  It would be sweet if Soros came in and started buying up Vast, although one might "speculate" that perhaps a deal is in the works to finally merge the two entities together and this was how they could bring in his money without driving the Vast shares through the roof in one get go.  Just speculation on my part,  hee hee.  Anyway, I am rambling here, let's just hope this takes off in the next month or so. 
I am continuing to accumulate especially when I see a negative post from goof 40 or other similar goofballs, as I , like you, believe wholeheartedly this play is a no brainer.  Everyone will be saying the same within the next year or so,  but many will have completely missed the boat.  People out there....don't you be one of those.
