I realize that too, however, normally Severstal has been quick to quote the bad news and bury the good.  I figure that they would have mentioned the bad as well (i.e. the death) if they want to keep the price from running.  At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the auditors did not allow the Prognosz write down.  Severstals gold report did not include it.
Perhaps they will include the $10 million write down of the mine they wold.  However, they are also talking about further drilling and mill life which they have never done before.  I'm taking this release as a good sign for the future.
