valuation

valuationHey folks, my wife and I are sitting here watching wife swap. Ok, not sophisticating investing entertainment but on a serious note, I woke up at 5AM this morning wondering what canplats was paid out and comparing to the value of FDN, based on market cap.  I chose canplats cause my 3AM mind was thinking that canplats is the most recent buyout I can remember.

So of course I put all the my googling (a great money maker) efforts in this morning. Up front, I couldnt believe that canplats was paid only 5% of their 3.5M oz of gold and 60M oz of silver. Anyways, Canplants was bought out at 5% of their market cap.

Lets apply this to FDN. We have at least 234oz of gold proven at Coldstream and I have no doubt this will go higher as we need a new 43-101. Let's say we have 234 oz of gold at San Rafael as well. Let's round this to 500 oz resource for both coldstream and San Rafeael, on current prices and our current float, this stock is worth $2.73.

I am a CFO of a company that is not mine related. I say this to give some credibility to my statement and this is all conservative. Conservative because canplats was bought out at 5%. You cant tell Goldcorps return will only be 5% after tax. Conservative because I am assuming the Coldstream resource is only 234oz, it will at least double and conservative on assuming there is only 250oz at San Rafeal, a known resource.

I am not a pumper here. I have my pp with FDN. I will make my money regardless. Just posting some fact and willing to hear feedback on other peoples thoughts of valuation. I was in on the pp in Dec and personally I never would have thought they would have drilled what they did but I do know the channel samples at span lake are better than the east cold stream.

Anyways, this stock is worth $2.73 minimum. This is assuming 5% of the value of the current estimate. Increase the estimate by two, which is conservatve, and we are north of $5.00. Meaning, this is the hit of the year so far for my wife and me. We are in for 200,000 shares.

Good luck to FDN in increasing the resource.
