RE: COMMI SITE BEING INVESTIGATED

RE: COMMI SITE BEING INVESTIGATEDIt's difficult to know whether Sage knew about what was going on.  As part of the OSC allegations against AG, it states that Ag's activities put their customers in violation of OSC corporate finance regulations regarding the hiring of IR firms.

As much as we love to hate SGX management, I can not believe that they would be stupid enough to play this game with full knowledge.  It's possible that they fired AG  when they got a sniff of it and decided to wash their hands of the whole thing... maybe they were the one's who reported it to the OSC.  We don't know for sure but the OSC would likely not have done anything if it wasn't pointed out to them.

The real issue is the shenanigans of AG.  While I agree with many that all forums stock/social/or otherwise will have planted posters to help generate traffic ... (that's part of running a forum, traffic brings more revenue), doing this as well as being an IR firm is a complete conflict of interest at the least.  It could easily be argued they were fraudulent as well by showing potential companies what great traffic and discussion their forums create.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

cheers
