I don't believe Troika would be fouled by any BS writedowns to hold down share price.  They are either in with Severstal or would hold out till the end for full value.  Considering they got a sweet deal to buy in, have a seat on the board and have worked with Severstal in the past my guess is they are in with Severstal.

I too am waiting for news on a share transfer before audited results come out as I am figuring that why results were delayed.  If results were delayed for reasons other than the share transfer we can then expect more BS in the audited numbers, as I doubt auditors are holding this up becuase they don't like what Severstal is trying to do.

I am somewhat optimistic given that there was no negative language (other than delaying results) in the last release.  This is a change in tone.

If we don't have news of a share transfer before audit numbers are released i may sell part of my stake to reduce the risk of bad news and then buy back after the dust from the audited numbers settles.
