why the upswing today

why the upswing todayOkay have had a busy day and didn't have time .. but .. why did YNG just 1.5 cents at the close of the trading day, gold wasn't up a lot nor was metals or mining .. is there good news or did I miss something ? regardless I appreciate being up today !
