Are you serious with this question?
Because the write down is, or at least was, an ideal way for Severstahl to keep the share price low.
The Q3 numbers didn't need to be audited so no approval was necessary and it was a perfect cover for the massive profits that otherwise would have shown up.
Q3 had a 4 million loss WITH the write-down of Prognoz for an amount of 59 million, need I say more?
IF Severstahl tries to sell or give this asset away below any decent market price than it will get sued from Canada to Russia. 
For the last time, you CAN NOT hide strong cashflow forever.
I am not interested in profits but in CASHFLOWS and my god does HRG have a cash flow or what... :-))
