RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Funds in controlI agree with mostly everything you wrote, except for one thing;
You cannot judge someone's value when you have hindsight (or after the fact). You must judge someone's decision with the data he had at the time. It is very easy to say "he was *cave* to invest at that price, since right now we are way lower".
If an investment would for example, 99% safe with more than 1% returns, it would make sense to put money on that investment. It may turn out that you are unlucky,and you it the 1% unsafe & loose. But you had the right logic. And if you have diversity & you apply a right analysis, you will win more than you loose on the long run & be successful. On the other hand, if you go on the speculative markert, which is very risky, and have no diversity, you are in trouble. You may be lucky, but... it is a bit like casino imho.
The mentionned fund manager is not only investing in EKO right now. The fact that he is investing, doesn't garantee anything about EKO, no matter how good he is. It just means that he is considering the value of the stock worth the risk he is taking.
So anybody with diveristy in its portefolio would sleep well. Only those who are currently playing roulette with a single stock on a speculative stock could have indigestions. So I hope for theses guys that EKO go up soon,but my best advice would be to stop adding money to a single stock & look for more diversity....
I'm sure that you are all well aware of theses concepts but, just in case.
My 2 cents again
