Trelawney Appoints Chairman
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 13, 2010) - Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TRR) announces that the Company's Board of Directors has appointed Anthony (Tony) Makuch as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Tony Makuch joined the Trelawney Board of Directors on September 14, 2009. Mr. Makuch is a professional engineer with over 25 years of management, operations and technical experience in the mining industry, having managed numerous projects in Canada and the United States from advanced exploration through production. Mr. Makuch currently serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Lake Shore Gold Corp., a TSX listed mineral development and exploration company that is moving towards gold production through its wholly-owned Timmins Mine project and Bell Creek property. Prior to joining Lake Shore Gold Corp., Mr. Makuch held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of FNX Mining Company as well as Vice President, Operations of Dynatec Corporation.
