RE: What's Next ?
I wrote awhile back to Kim Williams at IR and although it took a while she sent this back recently:
Welcome! It is nice to have you as a shareholder.
We are very excited about this summer and the upcoming drillprograms we have planned for BCG.
We will start the drill season at the Engineer Mine and thatwill commence in late May/early June, depending on weather and when we can haveeverything in place.
Access to the property is by barge in warmer temperatures anddriving in on the ice in the winter. The drills and other equipment willmore than likely be brought in by helicopter
when we are ready. We intend to drill test 2 veins betweenthe 5th and 8th Levels of the mine from underground; testing the dip extensionsof the high-grade shoots.
A successful drill program that verifies the historic high goldgrades could provide the impetus to dewater the lowermost 3 levels of the mine, which have been flooded since the early 1930’s. We would expect to havethe results of this drill program mid summer.
We also have two properties in the Yukon that will be drilledthis summer, the Toes and the Pepper. These properties have commitmentsto finance drill programs in the amount of $350,000 each this year and wouldcommence approximately in August. These properties are strategically locatedproximal and adjacent to Capstone Mining Corp.’s currently producing;high-grade copper-gold Minto Mine and Western Copper’s recently permittedCarmacks Copper Project.
There is also a possibility that BCGold will commence anotherdrill program on some of our more advanced Yukon properties but at this time itis depending upon financing. Watch the news for more of an update on thatpossibility.
.......should be a good summer for us. GLTA
