CANACOL ENERGY (V-CNE)

There are countries out there around the world
that you want to invest in, and others that you just
want to ignore. You can even narrow that down as
there are some states in the United States that you
don’t want to be investing in if it is a mining exploration
play either for that matter as with all those
environmentalists nothing gets done on time or
cheaply.
In the oil patch these days you certainly don’t
put any money into Venezuela, where there is lots
of oil...you go next door to Colombia where they
are suddenly discovering a lot of oil, particularly
heavy oil in a new regime that a decade ago
seemed to be the home to kidnappers, drug runners
and unsavory people and now with so many
skilled people leaving Venezuela to take significant
executive positions in Colombia, exploration
in that country is coming up with some huge rewards.
We’ve mentioned Fred Kozak and some of his huge
successes over the last while, such as Petro Rubiales.
Petro Rubiales has become a ten bagger for those brave
enough to step into the story a year ago when it looked
like the financial world was ending.
Today Kozak has had to raise his target on another one
he follows, PetroMinerales which has been another huge
success and he raises his target to $43 from $40.
Unfortunately these types of stories are much to bluechip
to us but we go and celebrate another Fred Kozak
story that is more up our alley, Canacol, which also is flirting
with new highs today and has a beautiful chart don’t
you think?
Canacol does have a few shares outstanding folks so be
aware of that, is now expected to spud their Takutu Play
onshore Guyana. This is important, make that very very
important because this play has the potential of somewhere
between 40 and 240 million barrels, was previously
drilled a few decades ago and came up with 400 barrels a day
