RE: Whats your take on V.TRX is this a GO?Hey there SweetCrystal,
re: Terrane
Tricky one. I've been at Mt Milligan many times also, it's a fairly accessible site. I'm not sure where TRX is planning to ship their ore from, but I assume it's going to be Ft St James since the best road in the area goes there, as opposed to Mackenzie or an alternate rail link. Are they shipping to smelters in Quebec, Japan? I lost track a few years back of Terrane - used to hold the warrants.
The mine is definitely "gonna fly" - it's full speed ahead up there. They are building at a rapid pace; it's truck after truck after truck on the Germansen Forest Service Road to FSJ. The last I heard there was still a squabble between the McLeod Lake band and another - possibly the Takla or maybe one of the bands right at Ft St James - maybe they're all the same, I'm not sure. Nonetheless, the mine itself is a go - the outstanding claims were, last time I heard,  just about which of the bands is going to receive the payout (payoff?). But there's no stopping that mine, bank on that.
I stopped following TRX because my advisors were very worried about the economics of the project - however that was predicated to some degree on uncertainty around long term metals prices. Cu and Au are looking pretty good right now though. Don't know if TRX has signed any forward sales agreements or not. Sorry to take up SIR's board with all this detail - I'll check in over at the TRX BB to get reacquainted - but yes, Mt Milligan is a go.
