RE: RE: Enlightening Natcore Interview..The artificial retina is interesting & I believe the technology falls under the Newcyte umbrella which is why it might not be on the Natcore website yet.

They could use the carbon nanotubes as the "retinal cones" and use different chemical makeups to alter the absorption spectra --> 3 styles of cones - trichromat (3-colour) vision. Like the three-layer tandem device except the cones would need to be intermixed within a single layer. I have no doubt a retina can be created with the technology. We just have to wait and see how it works. Nobel prize winning science for sure.
