Alain Zubrzycki and Luc Lamarche joins Rock Tech'sVANCOUVER, Apr 19, 2010 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) --The Board of Directors of Rock Tech Resources Inc. ("Rock Tech" or the"Company") announces the formation of its Technical Advisory Board. Thenominations to its Technical Advisory Board will allow the Company todevelop proprietary technical processes to produce lithium carbonate(Li(2)CO(3)) of high purity.
Rock Tech's Board of Directors is pleased to announce that it hasappointed Mssrs. Alain Zubrzycki and Luc Lamarche to the Company'sTechnical Advisory Board. Mssrs. Zubrzycki and Lamarche were principalsof Lithos Corporation and its subsidiary Limtech Inc., during which timethey made significant contributions to developing a process yieldingbattery grade Li(2)CO(3) and in developing a chlorination process toproduce lithium metal. Mssrs. Zubrzycki and Lamarche both have over 20years experience in exploration and project management in the mining andmetallurgical field. Their knowledge of the lithium markets and endusers will no doubt significantly contribute to the growth of thecompany.
"We are extremely proud to have Mssrs. Zubrzycki and Lamarche joinour Technical Advisory Board. Their expertise for processing Li(2)CO(3)will allow us to develop proprietary processes to purify Li(2)CO(3) fromspodumene from our own projects in James Bay (northern Quebec) andGeorgia Lake (Thunder Bay mining district), but it will also allow us tofarm out our technology or become service providers to other Li(2)CO(3)producers," stated Afzaal Pirzada, Company Director. He added, "This isone more step bringing us closer to securing high purity Li(2)CO(3) toend users."
Mssrs. Zubrzycki and Lamarche will also collaborate with AfzaalPirzada, the Company's Vice President of Exploration and InterimPresident & CEO in developing and executing exploration anddevelopment programs for the Company's Georgia Lake and Kapiwak lithiumand rare metals projects.

MSSR. LUC LAMARCHE - Biography
------------------------------
Mssr. Lamarche, P.Geo., is a geologist and a qualified person asdefined in NI43-101. For more than 25 years, he has been a consultant, director and officer of several Canadian mining companies. Most recentlyhe was a director and officer of Alma Resources, Explor Resources andLithos Corporation. Mssr. Lamarche has been part of the discovery teamof a number of deposits in Canada, including Sakami gold discovery.Mssr. Lamarche was the founder of Abitibi Lithium Corporation in 1990,along with his partner Mssr. Georges H. Dumont, who discovered thedeposit that became the Quebec Lithium Mine, which from 1955 to 1965produced lithium and which soon be taken back into production. Hediscovered and developed the Sirmac, Moblan, Lacorne properties inQuebec, was a principal founder of Lithos Corporation in 1995 and itssubsidiary Limtech Corporation, which were both involved in thedevelopment of lithium properties and revolutionary and proprietaryLi(2)CO(3) metallurgical processes, was a key member of technical teamthat developed spodumene concentrate process and technology to bringlithium carbonate to 99.999% purity, and has participated in thedevelopment of lithium market opportunities with Japanese, Chilean,German and Canadian companies.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
-----------------
Rock Tech is a lithium exploration, development and lithium carbonateprocessing company. The Company's core projects are its 100% ownedKapiwak Lithium Project in the James Bay area of northern Quebec, andGeorgia Lake Lithium Project in the Thunder Bay Mining District.
The Kapiwak Lithium Project, an early stage exploration project, consists of 123 claims covering over 6,400 hectares. This project wasthe subject of ground exploration work carried out by the Company in thesummer of 2009. Sample results showed lithium oxide grades of up to1.47%. Rock Tech's Kapiwak Lithium Project borders on the southern edgeof Lithium One's lithium oxide discovery, and is located 5 kilometres tothe north of Dios Exploration and Sirios Resources and 40 kilometres tothe northeast of First Gold's lithium and rare metals discoveries.
The Georgia Lake Lithium Project is comprised of 64 mining claimscovering 11,481 hectares in 652 claim units, and 61 mining leasescovering 1,049 hectares area over three claim blocks. Over the threeclaim blocks, there is a historical resource of 9 million tons at 1.14%lithium oxide(1) based on over 200 drill holes with a total of 33,000metres diamond drilling carried out in the late 1950's. Undergrounddevelopment carried out during that period on the Nama Creek claimblock, which was set to go into production in the late 1950's, included avertical four-compartment shaft sunk to a depth of 153 metres.Exploration drilling results from December 2009 indicate 1.62% lithiumoxide over 10.5 metres and 1.54% lithium oxide over 8.9 metres. RockTech's immediate plan is to bring the historical resource to current NI43-101 standards, and carry out development and metallurgical work tofurther expand on the historical work.

With the formation of the Company's Technical Advisory Board and theannouncement of Mssrs. Alain Zubrzycki and Luc Lamarche, Rock Tech isnow positioned with the technical process to purify Li(2)CO(3). Themandate for the Technical team will be to continue to work on enhancingthe Li(2)CO(3) purification process, as well as processes to extractother rare metals from its host rocks.
