What software do you use to track stock purchases?

What software do you use to track stock purchases?It is tax time again and this year I want to break away from Inuit'sstock tracker and use something that is not proprietary and a PIA touse. 

So what do you guys use to calculate your capital gains forRevenue Canada?

Spreadsheet? Custom program?
Are there anyout there that are free that you would recommend?
