RE: RE: Postpone Climate Bill UnveilingWhile we in the Western world would like think that what is done here is more important (and on a larger scale) than in other parts of the world, are blind to the fact that China and India are much larger markets than North America. Even if the U.S. does nothing to support Natural Gas, I am with the voices that say, the move to NG is going to happen; incentives or not. The only thing the incentives will do is make the stock move in a more speculative manner, over a short term.
Even one $140.00 barrel of oil this summer is going to make new truck buyers think twice, and it might force some owner/operators entirely off the road.
The fact is, that even with wide spread adoption throughout the United States, this market is only a small percentage of the "world market"...
IMHO, a positive NR about the (proposed) Chinese JV, is by far more significant than any announcement from Washington... but in reality, even a string of NRs about what Westport is doing in China, will likely pass as second rate information compared to U.S. Gov't. legislation...
