From the beginning of 1970 through to January, 1980, our last great bull market for gold, gold miners (as measured by Barron's gold mining index) rose 652 per cent while the S & P rose only 22 per cent.
Junior gold explorers are even more highly leveraged in a gold bull run and you have seen some of those stats before with 5 thousand per cent returns not being unusual for junior gold explorers with good management.
