RE: RE: Something wrong with this pictureI think you hit the nail on the head: "A resourse of 2.7 million ounces with an operating mine that isexpanding and in one of the best gold producing areas of the worldshould be trading much higher. May just need to establish a base hereand then get the news out to more investors."
I agree, and you have to wonder about managements business savvy at times:
1) They release the freakin' best news they've had in three years on a Friday morning, without a newswire, and with the wrong numbers
2) They butcher the news release - the title looks to be written by a 4th grader learning english as a second language
3) Then, they re-release the news via a newswire with a little more than 2 hours remaining in the trading day.
Get a marketing clue folks! Wake up.
This thing could have easily flown and had a tonne more visibility IF:
1) They released it via a newswire Monday, Tuesday, Wed, or Thursday
2) In the title, they say something like "Majestic Gold Releases new 43-101 with large increase in gold reserves" or anything, EXCEPT "Majestic Gold Greatly Increases Resources at Its Songjiagou Project". 4th grade, anyone?
3) They Didn't F up the numbers in the first release?
Makes me scratch my head sometimes at the lack of simple logic and "how to best market your asset" to the general public.
That rant aside, great numbers. Too bad everyone has to look so hard to find stuff on this company. With these guys trying to raise visibility, they better have more things up their sleeve, because their PR strategy does not work at all, and it will take a hell of a lot longer to get visibility in the market. I mean, the German newsletter had better impact on the SP than the most substantial news in years. I don't get it.
Hopefully the market wakes up.
