Based on the fundamentals of the company - the Song Jiagou property - the company has substance. I mean, the 43-101 is a third party verified and certified document. The numbers are real, the potential is real, the 2.7M gold oz (inferred and indicated) is all real. But this company is in its infancy, really. A few more major steps need to take place. They are a small shop right now and need to grow, and learn a few things, but they need to grow in a managed fashion. Yeah, they have a lot to learn about PR and marketing and IR and yeah, when they screw up, I will be critical of them. But, I do believe it the property and potential for big returns down the line.
With the production of gold starting in Dec 09, we're only 4 months into production. The planned growth of production by almost 400% for 2011 is the path they are taking and we all know that (based on the presentation on their website).
With the release of the 201043-101, they have something fundamental to promote. Something recent, validated, verified and SUBSTANTIAL. It is for that reason, I am invested and staying invested regardless of managements shortcomings right now.
So, as a large shareholder, it is my right to complain when things aren't done as they should be, but in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter. They have a very good asset. They need to promote it, and ramp it up. The market will come, it's just a matter of when.
Also, keep in mind that at this time last month, the stock was at .05 cents. There will be a period of some sellers dumping, some traders playing, but the base is being built for the next leg up. Armed with substance, the stock could (and imo should) start to react as people start to see the resources this small little company has ownership of.
Also, I would not count out this company being a takeover target. That is one thing I try to invest in - undervalued companies with good assets or technology that are potential targets. This one fits the mold and we've only had 10 hours of trading with the 43-101 visible to investors. Patience is key imo.
Feel free to complain about the small things, but don't lose sight of the big picture...
