Nothing available

Nothing availableI was in on an offering of STP a few years back, got out of the stock when it got silly, then started buying back in fairly recently - managed to get a fair pile of the stuff, but was pinging around trying to get any sniff of availability of the offering for the past month.  No dice.  I spoke with a TD rep and told them, I wanted in and they basically said, don't wait for the offering, cause you may not get much.  Called today again and they didn't laugh, but may as well have - no way I'm getting any of the cheapies.

If you want more shares, get them on the open market.  The Greece thing provided a small window to buy, but that may close quickly.

Am I bummed I didn't get some at $1.2 - you bet.  But the uncertainty is gone now, and they still have serious upside if you ask me.

And BTW - If you are thinking abour shorting at 1.27 and then buying some of the offering - check with your broker first or you may be sorry.
