RE: Very Undervalued Gold StockGreat little comparison chart there vs. Semafo.
I remember looking at this stock a while back when I originally bought Semafo, and I stayed away from OGC due to the hedges. At the time, SMF was around $3.
Now OGC hedges are gone, SMF is nearly $6, and OGC is still $2.50. Way too cheap. Even if gold pulled back a bit (which it shouldn't, American dollar is worthless) OGC is still too cheap with 300,000 oz of unhedged production.
Comparing to SMF, this stock could double and it would still be undervalued based on market cap. Assuming a market cap like SMF's, OGC could easily be over $6.
Based on earnings, share price over $4+ is easily possible also. Earnings with a PE of 10-20. Just rough calculations, but the possible gain is so obvious that rough numbers are good enough because the overall answer is the same - OGC is too cheap.
After selling a lot of my holdings in the last while (as things have gone up, such as SMF) I'm happy to see this one now as a possible steal that is worth getting into right now. Got quite a bit of cash on the sidelines after all my selling, but this is too good to pass up.
