Considering...
...that latest bit of news from everyman's friend, Hugo Chavez, you really don't think that even the crew running REV would be stupid enough to gamble that Chavez will not nationalize the gold mining industry, do you?
I mean, other than just changing the topic Curtis, why else would you post that PR unless REV is somehow going to be attached, included, dragged along, sucked in, or somehow involved in that deal.
I did read that somehow, some oil offshore equipment was going to be involved, but as it appears REV isn't really in the oil and gas business, what was the point?
Which reminds me, has REV ever finalized the transactions outlined in the Letter of Intent with the replacement to Pilgreen/TerOnne to formally have an interest in those three mystery holes-to-be-drilled in mysterious somewhere northern Louisiana?
What is the name and pedigree of the 'company' with which REV replaced Pilgreen's TerOnne? It wouldn't be something such as "TerTwwo" now, would it?
It sure looks spot-on that that analysis of the work involved in working in any of the "mature oil and gas areas of the Caddo Pine Island Field, the Monroe GasField, the Delhi Field and the Big Creek Field" is out of REV's league.
Yesterday I asked a friend who has specialized as a landman in the southern oil and gas business for the last 30 years what were the prospects of a small to junior size company pulling all of this off...well, after the laughter, his answer was very enlightening.
There are very few companies with the technical capacity to do that type of work, let able to access the hundreds of millions of dollars necessary to pull off revitalizing a "mature" oil field as shown by the work in which Denbury specializes.
The CO2 supply, whether drilled for or purchased requires a very extensive, CO2 dedicated pipeline network to continuously provide the needed pressure to force the reluctant hydrocarbons from the formations to the wells.
Not only do new extraction wells usually need to be drilled or at least re-worked, but also a network of CO2 injection wells have to be drilled. $4 to $5 million a pop and pretty soon, you are talking some real money. The pipeline network with accompanying permits, cash deposits and such...soon you are looking right in the eye with that $200 million Denbury is receiving for their work for Evolution. (Hey now, there is a prospective buy for you!)
So, it looks as if REV is back to KX100000000x, Red Mountain, Mountain City, and EUGS...all with such stellar minds at the helm of the SS Regent Ventures! Oh yeah, sorry I forgot, but I can't forget the pending deal with Grand Pacaraima Gold Corporation (PINKSHEETS: GPGD), implied by Curtis.
What say you, Curtis? Be patient, I have to log out so I can read your reply.
