Hydrocarbons....yes/no/maybe?I clicked on that banner ad too and it appears to just send you to that very rosy press release in the investor relations section of their site. It should send you to the last one that came out and resulted in the dive from 60s to 40s. I think that is a very deceptive way of promoting the company and makes me wonder about their overall integrity. Granted, you can't base your due diligence on that one bit of information but they seem to be very selectve in pushing banner-visitors to this very sunny PR.
I was wondering, on that point, what the actual statement means. I didn't think the wording was very clear. It says that

The Company will not pursue further exploration for hydrocarbons or incur any expenditure to further study this potential.

It sounds sorta wishy-washy.
Does this mean there is nothing there, or there is nothing there that WPX is going to go after but others might when the time is right.?
