RE: InvestingAnswers Special EditionThere is obviously a reason why he is the second richest man in the world .. I have read this before and totally agree with him and have used this same logic to come out ahead myself. As in my buying bank stocks at or near the bottom of the recession .... my opinion at the time was that they were being judged by the world banking system which is not near as good or safe as our, they never lost money nor were they ever in trouble .. needless to say they bounced back fast and hard.
This also goes to my feelings about Canadian investors being fear mongers and also that 2009 will be remembered as the year that Canadian investors missed out as 87 % of Canadians didn't take advantage of the market when it was low and only 13 % of Canadians invested in the market when it was low and reaped the rewards.
Also if more investors listened to these words of wisdom then our markets would swing so much out of fear like they did last week.
