Canadian Royalties Inc. announcedthat ithas won an arbitration ruling that allows it to boost its stakein theExpo-Ungava metals property to 80%. The company said the rulingagainstNearctic Nickel Mines Inc., the former Ungava Minerals Corp.,allows itto take additional 10% interest in the project and form ajoint venturewith Nearctic. Nearctic was also ordered to payarbitrator's fees. Thehearings followed a challenge by Nearctic thatCanadian Royalties had notmet its obligations under an option and jointventure agreement signedin 2001.
