RE: RE: RE: RE: Stock Options issued...OTEverthing you say is true, but seriously we all know the game is fixed yet we still want to play.
Not sure what your point is, farrouk. I wasn't complaining about my losses in this stock. I was a bit surprised with the viciousness of the drop, though I've wondered to myself how much NAU has been planning to sell to Europe and how much to Asia. Europe to me has been ripe for disintegration for a long time. But I thot NAU perhaps had the cash and connections and logistics set out well enough to make a profitable go at it. So not sure what will happen here. Those who dumped must have decided that there won't be much European demand for NAUs resources by the time they're ready to get to market, and that some significant %age is aimed toward Europe. Don't know exactly, nor what flexibility they have planned for feasibility-wise.
Any idiot who thinks that any amt of "interest" or dividend under about 50% is going to be "safe" shouldn't be invested in anything. He should instead take his money, go buy a cabin in the wilderness (or perhaps outside the country) with potable running water, stock it with food and other necessities, get protection, and prepare to wait out what's going to hit, perhaps this year. GICs @3% are a non-starter and the least safe investment one could have. The losses will simply be more gradual, but equally as sure.
I said nothing about being in a rush, and the only thing I'd ever do with GS is short it at he appropriate time. You buy all you want.
But again, my point wasn't really about my investment here, which is why I put "OT" on it. It's about the fact that there are MACRO forces at play that can and perhaps will completely overwhelm the Micro forces in play with this stock, no matter how smart you / we may think you / we are.
PS...btw, Farrouk, are you offering me that drink? Whatcha got??
