what we know...hi all. it's been a while since i've posted. it's always funny to see how even the biggest fans of this uncut diamond become flustered when the stock goes soft...
markets have been, shall we say, turbulent. that's always problematic for microcap stocks.
it's worth mentioning that on the heels of their December 2009 financing, the company has over $9 million in cash (
.15 per share based on close to 60 million shares outstanding), and no debt.
it's worth reiterating the fact that they've recently partnered with the biggest technology companies on the planet (Google, Intel, Cisco to name only those) to deliver what most experts believe is the next generation of web-based content to the living room, and with their ANGLE project, unless i'm misreading, it goes far beyond just gaming. With Gametree.tv, they've positioned themselves on the front line of the next and perhaps most ubiquitous gaming platform - TV sets across the entire planet.
They are in the process of negotiating and signing on cable companies all over Europe and Asia, with North America next on the agenda. The upshot (again, unless i'm misreading) is that they will have a pool of tens of millions of potential customers being offered any one of several payment options on hundreds of titles, resulting in millions and millions of potential microtransactions to anyone who's ever played games, or wanted to play games without forking out a small fortune for expensive gaming consoles they're forced to upgrade every few years, or hundreds of dollars buying games that lose their luster after a few weeks of play.
If you ex-out the cash position, the business is currently valued at about
.50/share. Sounds like a helluva nice pony to bet on to me. I still hold the vast majority of stock I've purchased over the last 4 years and i will continue to hold on, hoping an offer to acquire the company doesn't happen for at least a couple of years - because the upside on TNG is immeasurable right now.
Long and strong and loving it,
Legend
