Units grouped and run in parallel set up on barges or tankers would most definitely be a solution (I like that idea froggy51) but 5000BPD units just wouldn't cut it, they would need units than could produce much greater volumes. Do they have this technology? Not to my knowledge, but to simply just separate the oil and water maybe the technology is scalable to a much greater factor. And I don't think salt water is an issue at all either, possibly better. The attractions are obvious, no chemicals, etc. - oil one way - water right back into the Gulf. Oh the doors this would open.

I'm hoping there is substance to this Yet2 tweet. It would be incredible for Wescorp on all fronts. I'll admit I am very doubtful at the moment, but an extremely slim chance must exist IMO. Why this tweet, why now, why the wording.
