The oil that is pumped out of wells is formed on the bottom of ancient sea bed floors. The salt content is EXTREMLEY high so these units were designed to withstand that environment. It’s a natural fit.

Also since WSCE can get the oil in the water to >29 PPM it can be dumped right back into the ocean while the oil is pumped into barges. Recovering money from lost oil.
