Glad to see you post, here! I was hoping that sometime you could post some detail about the NCM claim in the middle of LSG land . ( Carscallen ) . I know you say that it is moose pasture at present, but what about DEEPER levels , say , in a description of the LSG land around it? Your knowledge about mining and the geology would be greatly appreciated by people on this board, I'm sure.
You're right, the fever has cooled for the Timmins play, since HOC made it known that they want LSG. You remember, all these small fry were flying when West Timmins was going on it's own. Now, all the market is interested in is drill results and/or producers. So, the bet is that one of these small companies may come up with SOMETHING before the " Gold Fever" run takes off. You know it is just chomping at the bit to go now. If it wasn't for the manipulation, it probably would be on it's way. Gold hit $ 1,235.30 today, and I believe that is a new high??
You're also right in that this is speculative. And, I do have a lot of shares --- 1 million. I don't plan to get out any time soon. I also figure that 1 million shares are also 1 million voting shares. Any really dumb moves by management, will be voted accordingly. Other menbers of this board also have a large number of shares. So far, the float is only about 62 mil., I believe.
This company has been stuck for a long time. Somehow, I don't see the moves so far as being " reckless" --- unorthodox, maybe, but at least things are happening and the press-releases are coming on each event. I remember all the grumping on the WTM and LSG boards about the lack of news, etc. I guess I relate to this management, as I had similar experiences trying to set up my own business and get things rolling. No bank would lend to me.
And, you're also right about my money being "dead money" in this play. ( For the time, being) But, do not fear --- My CORE position of 100K in LSG remains and will remain untill it becomes another Goldcorp or HOC absorbs them. The money is really not "dead" -- it just flops around a lot ! (LOL) For every penny up or down, that's $ 10,000 !! The chart on my account looks like a saw blade !!
I guess, at this time I don't feel I've made a mistake --- I will wait for results , the Gold run , and Lady Luck to smile. You have said --- " Patience, patience, patience "
